Pacific Life Open Attendance

With such great tennis taking place on the court, fans flocked to the Tennis Garden and set record attendance numbers for the 12-day, 20-session tournament. With 303,398 people entering the gates this year, the tournament remains one of the most highly attended events on the ATP Masters Series and Sony Ericsson WTA Tour tennis circuit.
Two weeks of exciting tennis action culminated with Daniela Hantuchova defeating second seed Svetlana Kuznetsova, ending her five-year singles title drought with her second Pacific Life Open title. In the men's draw, World No. 2 Rafael Nadal defeated 19-year-old and first-time ATP Masters Series finalist Novak Djokovic in the youngest final in tournament history.
